You are a champion and warrior. Remember that and believe that!! The devil says to the warrior “You will not weather the storm” the Warrior responds back and says “I AM THE STORM.” Life happens and sometimes we run into obstacles that may deter us from getting to the goal that we set for ourselves. However, when you run into those obstacles that’s when you become fierce, relentless, unstoppable and determined. Do not talk yourself out of your dreams or goals. Instead, take life on and take it by the collar and say to yourself “I GOT THIS.” Your future is unlimited but you have to do whatever it takes to achieve your dreams. Challenge yourself and PUSH through the trials and tribulations that may cross your way. Life is not going to be perfect therefore, expect the unexpected and have heart. Set your mind and program yourself that “No matter what I am going to accomplish my goals and my dreams no matter how long it takes.”
I was reading a story about the man who co-founded Alibaba. His name is Jack Ma. He failed many times in life, school and in his career. Jack Ma Scored 1 out of 120 points on the math portion of his college entrance exam, he wasn’t deterred after being rejected from Harvard 10 times and after graduating from college he applied to 30 different jobs and was rejected by all of them including KFC. But Jack Ma was determined and refused to take NO for answer. Jack Ma went on to fail two of his initial ventures. But that didn’t stop him, he chose to fight and to dream bigger.
He kept pushing through and he persuaded 17 of his friends to invest and join him in his new e-commerce startup – Alibaba, the company began from his apartment too. Alibaba didn’t have a single penny in investments from outside investors, but they later raised $20 million from Softbank and another $5 Million from Goldman Sachs in 1999. Today Alibaba is worth over $84 billion and Jack Ma’s net worth is $38.3 billion.
Jack Ma’s story is one of many stories as to why you must never give up. You must fight and be relentless when it comes to your dreams and goals. What if Jack Ma would have ACCEPTED being a failure, he would have never known his full potential and he would not be a billionaire today. Jack Ma had a dream and a vision, therefore it didn’t matter if it he was rejected by everyone else because in his mind he was like a bouncy ball. The harder he was bounced on the ground with rejection the higher he went up with his expectations on his ability to be an over achiever.
Be fierce because you’re a winner. Have the “I CAN” mentality. When you accept anything less in life, you are doing yourself an injustice. Reach higher and aim higher.
